Toupee tape is quick and easy and it will hold your hair in place in all kinds of conditions. It also enables you to wear your toupee for long periods of time. Toupee tape is easy to work with and isn’t as messy as glue can get. If you know how to properly use toupee tape, it becomes one of the easiest adhesive methods.

To properly use toupee tape, you want to lay your hairpiece on a table with the bottom side of it facing up. Carefully brush away all the stubborn hair that are on the border of the skullcap. Now, carefully cut the toupee tape into little sections and gently press them all along the border of the skullcap. You do want the pieces of tape to overlap just a little bit, but you do not want the pieces to extend over the edge of the material. Just like any other type of double-sided tape, both sides need to be peeled before it works properly. When you place the hairpiece on your head, make sure none of the hair gets under the tape. This will cause improper adhesion. Press down firmly and you have just properly adhered your hairpiece to your head.
